Classic Reels
Our "Classic" model fly reels are designed specifically for spring creeks, where light leaders and small rods are the norm. Lightweight and elegant, they feature a simple click drag ideal for delicate presentations and smaller fish. The classic "S" handle and gold-and-black finish complement traditional cane rods beautifully. A unique side-cover lock allows for quick spool changes and lets anglers pre-set the internal drag adjustment. Each reel is serialized for authenticity and craftsmanship. They come with a handcrafted Arne Mason leather case and a "Care & Instruction" manual. The price includes the 10% Federal excise tax required on all U.S.-made fishing tackle.​
Micro-Disc Reels
Our Micro-disc reels are perfect for anglers who enjoy targeting bigger fish with light tackle. They maintain a classic look and feel, enhanced by modern materials and technology not available in the early 1900s. Featuring German Nickel Silver on key components, each reel offers 13 drag settings and a hybrid drag system—cork on one side of the disc and Teflon on the other. The removable side cover allows easy spool changes, outgoing clicker control, and drag range adjustment. A precision-machined palming rim, in a two-tone anodized finish, blends seamlessly into the frame with less than .002 inches of run-out. Each reel is serialized, comes with a handcrafted Arne Mason leather case, and includes a "Care & Instruction" manual. Pricing includes the 10% Federal excise tax required for U.S.-made fishing tackle.
Double-Disc Reels
Our Floating Double-Disc Drag Fly Reels are built for serious anglers targeting everything from Salmon and Steelhead to Tarpon and Billfish. The drag system uses a unique design inspired by automotive disc brakes, featuring cork bonded to both sides of a rotating disc for double the drag surface area. Unlike other reels, our full-contact drag pad prevents hydroplaning when wet, ensuring consistent performance. You can go from free-spool to full drag in just 180 degrees of knob rotation, eliminating the need for multiple turns. High-end materials like German Nickel Silver are used in the bearing cap, drag knob, and side cover lock, offering both durability and style. The anodized two-tone palming rim is precision-machined with less than .002 inches of run-out, and the side cover is removable for easy spool changes and clicker control. Each reel is serialized, includes a leather Arne Mason case, and the price reflects the required 10% U.S. Federal excise tax on fishing tackle.
